Closed Cell Spray Foam

To bring greater value to your commercial or industrial building, consider spray foam insulation. Spray foam insulation provides a thermal barrier with a true seal that prevents heat exchange, creating a more stable and consistent climate that is easier for your HVAC system to heat and cool. This results in higher energy efficiency and energy savings!

Closed Cell Spray Foam Insulation Advantages

  • Powerful Insulator
  • Incredible Energy Saver
  • Air Tight Seal

More About Closed Cell Spray Foam

Closed cell spray foam insulation is a type of spray foam insulation that is often used in commercial and industrial settings, as opposed to open cell spray foam used in residential projects. Closed cell spray foam is more rigid in nature because cells that make up the foam are completely closed. They are pressed together so air and moisture are unable to get inside the foam. This also helps increase the R-Value of closed cell spray foam, boosting 2X the R value of open cell foam in a standard wall.

This foam is an excellent vapor barrier and is unharmed by moisture/water damage. This also deters mold and has a very long lifespan. We are sure to use eco-friendly spray foam to best serve the environment and use a safe product for you.

Commercial Spray Foam Insulation Highlights

  • High R-Value
  • Excellent Thermal Barrier
  • Durable & Long-Lasting
  • Saves On Energy Bills

More Information On Our Building Insulation Foam Systems

Spray polyurethane foam insulation can be applied to virtually any horizontal or vertical substrate to provide superior insulation properties.  There are two types of foam that can be applied to each having unique properties:

Open Cell Foam  -  R-Value = 3.6/inch  for insulation, air barrier, insulation, and acoustical applications

Closed Cell Foam - R-Value = 7.0/inch  for insulation, air barrier, and vapor barrier applications

Today, many Local, State, and Federal Government Agencies are now demanding and specifying polyurethane foam insulation systems be installed in both new and remedial commercial/industrial applications due to its superior insulation and air-barrier properties.  Several states have changed their laws to mandate the use of ONLY polyurethane foam on all new commercial and institutional properties being constructed.

SPF Insulation

Commercial SPF Insulation Can Be Applied to Most Common Building Materials Including (But Not Limited To):

  • Metal Walls & Ceilings
  • Glass Windows / Skylights / Glass Roof Monitors
  • Concrete
  • Transite Panels
  • Wood
  • Freezers / Coolers / Controlled Atmosphere Rooms (food storage)
  • Tanks
  • Fiberglass Panels
  • Ductwork

This building insulation system truly does an excellent job covering up areas where heat exchange could take place due to its application versatililty.

SPF Contractor

Polyurethane foam must be protected by a 15-minute approved Thermal (fire) Barrier as required by most code agencies. Many choices are available to provide this protection:  drywall, intumescent coatings, portland cement spray-applied materials and metal sheathing are some of the FM approved materials.
